KWALHIA SELECTION : A SIRIUS TRANS/MISSIONS

C L O U D S is a movement and music collaboration project between composer A I R E & movement director Isabella Pilar. Filmed in the vast dunes of White Sands, New Mexico~C L O U D S summons the story of release through improvised movement & the experience of nature. Movement Director, Isabella Pilar, channels the embodiment of an inner unraveling & unfurling. "As often happens in times of Beauty~I felt called to honor my sadness and perhaps it isn't sadness, but the depths of myself~ my connection to those no longer here and to love lost in all its forms. But, also to celebrate what remains and the pathways to new experiences. " -Isabella Pilar. The music, written by A I R E, was created with the intent to offer both ease and release to the listener. It is a purely electronic instrumental that summons elements of "Air" & "Wind". Sonically, " C L O U D S" aims to envelope the listener by way of repetition and a subtle weaving of soft tones and synth textures. *Together* the aspects of Movement & Sound unify to create a "Music" that summons the experience of internal relief.
